Ouch! Three days ago I accepted a challenge, 100 Burpees in 100 days. This will be in addition to my normal workout routine. I have just left the chiropractors office as my neck, shoulders, and mid back were so tight I was having trouble breathing. This will not stop me. I have accepted this challenge not only for the sweet traps and lats it will most likely produce but for all I do I do have trouble seeing things through to the end. I have company on this adventure and having someone I am accountable to will be a huge help. Thank you Matty for being crazy enough to join me! I am timing myself, not as a competition but just to keep track of my progress so I will post everyday the struggle and the time.
Day one 16:35
Day two 11:22 when I was done I didn't know if I was going to barf or shit myself, I was destroyed.
Day three 12:17 I was very soar today as I begun my 100, I had to psyche myself up as I began that first one, then there was no turning back. The first 50 are generally pretty brutal but nothing compared to the back end, the last 50. I am not much of a grunter at the gym but I find it comforting and releasing on the last 30 and the last 20 I am fully. Shouting each number out loud as they get lower and lower. I recovered a little quicker today and didn't have the sickness I had yesterday. I think I'm going to invest in some biofreeze. See you tomorrow.
